Seniors' Dental Clinics
Who is eligible?
In order to be eligible for dental treatment you must:
Be age 65 or over
Be a City of Toronto resident. Provide proof of identity & residency, e.g. driver's
license, passport, birth certificate, utility bill, bank statement etc.
Have an annual income which supports financial hardship, (current tax assessment,
payroll stub, benefit receipt, bank statement, income/expense statement, letter from
agency or religious organization etc.)
What Services are provided?
Dental check-ups and X-Rays, fillings, extractions, limited root canal treatment
Professional cleaning of teeth and dentures in conjunction with treatment only
New dentures and partial dentures (certain criteria must be met)
Repairs to existing dentures and partial dentures
Do I have to pay? There is no charge for check-up, cleaning, fillings and extractions. No fee is charged
for the dentist or dental hygienist's professional services. If you need a denture or
partial denture you may be required to pay half of the laboratory fees. Special
arrangements may be made if you cannot afford this fee.
What services are not provided? Our Public Health Clinics do NOT provide:
Crowns
Fixed Bridges
Orthodontics
Dental Implants
